The 2025 Survivor Semillon is pale gold in colour with brilliant clarity. It opens with fresh aromas of lemon zest, green apple, chamomile, and white flowers, subtly layered with hints of honey and roasted nuts. The palate is clean and vibrant, defined by bright acidity and a balanced structure, showcasing Semillon’s hallmark waxy texture and refined delicacy.
The mid-palate reveals gentle complexity with notes of ripe citrus and a touch of minerality, leading to a long, clean finish. Fruit from old vines contributes depth, finesse, and excellent ageing potential. While the wine displays lively fruit and crisp acidity in its youth, with time in bottle it will evolve into richer flavours of beeswax, toasted nuts, and a supple, silky mouthfeel — becoming increasingly elegant with age.
