20 Months in the Barrel: The Elegance of Time
We believe that great Shiraz demands a patient touch. This exceptional wine has undergone a meticulous 20-month maturation in selected premium oak barrels. Throughout this extended cellaring, the vibrant, rich dark-fruit characteristics of the Barossa Shiraz naturally intertwine with the fine, structured tannins of the oak. This slow micro-oxygenation cloaks the wine in complex layers of baking spices, dark chocolate, and elegant vanilla, granting it a magnificent structure and incredible aging potential.
Tasting Notes
• Appearance: Deep, intense ruby with an elegant, vibrant purple hue at the rim.
• Aroma: Aromas of ripe blackberry and plum unfold layer by layer, followed by complex notes of black pepper, cedar, and roasted coffee beans, premium leather, and delicate vanilla brought forth by 20 months of oak maturation.
• Palate: Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with velvety, structured tannins derived from the hand-picked barrels. Serving Suggestions
